WHAT IS CENTREPEACE?

CentrePeace is the name for our Sr. High ministry for grades 9-12. Our students meet regularly for a time of games, music, prayer and teaching. It is a safe place where students can be themselves and continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

what is our goal?

Our goal is to equip the youth “so that [they] may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, [they] are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ” (Eph 4:14-15). We do this through expositional teaching, intentional relationships, & special events.

WHEN DO WE MEET?

We meet every week on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm - 9:30pm at The Rock Community Church. You will find us ready to check your students in at the lower parking lot doors.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE MEET?

During our weekly meetings, we usually start with games as we build relationships together. We then transition to a time of prayer for the persecuted church, singing songs of worship, and teaching. Right now, we are working through the book of 1 Peter as we seek to understand how to find meaning in a world that is meaningless.

Learn About Our PARTNERSHIPs

Our weekly meeting consists of students and leaders who attend Oxford Baptist Church, Faithway Baptist Church, and the Rock Community Church. This partnership has been in place for years and provides tremendous opportunities for leaders and students to worship with others and grow together. If you or your student doesn't attend one of our churches, that's not a problem; everyone is welcome to attend.
